The NZ News Online SPCA warn everyone to stay away from country folk. 22nd October 2009 The SPCA has warned normal people to stay away from people who live in the country after it was discovered that they think rabbit hurling competitions are normal behaviour and because they're generally a bit backwards. Country
people, also known as hicks, are found in the areas outside of cities
and towns, they are known for being a bit simple, complaining about not
being able to get cell phone reception because they live in the country,
how they're the salt of the earth and boring anyone who'll listen about
how great it is in to live in the country. They however seem to miss the
fact that if it was so great, more people would live there.Jim Jefferson, a spokesman from the SPCA said "Country people really are quite horrible, they're smelly, dirty and really quite thick, most of them can't even afford a decent telly and hence need to revert tossing animal carcasses about for entertainment. Oh and most of them are inbred" However, JJ Cletus, a sheep enthusiast from Kaitaia, said: "This is just a part of growing up in the country, tossing some sort of carcass around is just a bit of good honest fun and part of growing up, a bit like goat fucking".
